my faith in humanity has never been as low before. the snark subreddits are already vile no matter who they're directed at, but what kind of sick fuck does one have to be to harass a selfless soul who dedicated her entire life to helping foxes???

you might recognise some of their popular videos with two foxes from their rescue, dixie and finnegan making sounds as if they're laughing. they were one of the very few things to bring a smile on my face during the awful year of 2020 and i'm simply devastated right now.

I remember seeing several video's of her as I absolutely love foxes myself. I wonder what will happen to her foxes now

I saw this recently and it wasn't just snark reddits but also other animal sanctuaries were harassing her too apparently which baffles me how their moral compasses can be so broken that they can simultaneously be doing a good deed and then spew venom at someone doing the same out of jealously.

there's a lot of sayings that a person who's kind towards animals is also kind towards people but in this case this couldn't be further from the truth. making some kind of competition out of helping living beings? we are doomed as a society.

no idea! honestly this news is how i found out she was getting hate to begin with because out of literally all public figures there are, she's one that i would never think might be getting harassed on the internet. she was just out there doing so much good and spreading joy.

in latest video on their channel mikayla's husband says that the rescue will continue (the video was absolutely gut-wrenching to watch though, the pain he's visibly in is something i wouldn't wish on my worst enemy) so the foxes will be fine, but it's still heartbreaking that she won't be here for them...

I really don't get why stupid idiots would harass a woman who dedicates her life to animals minding her own business. Like what reason, the people involved in this should go to jail since they contributed to a human taking their life.
