TWICE JAPAN 6th ALBUM "ENEMY" was directed by member Jihyo. Jihyo participated in the direction of everything from the visuals to the songs and music videos.

Technically yes...because all the Twice stuff is always bright and bubbly, its just nice to see Twice in a more serious atmosphere

I think the only other time was during Doughnut, I think...I cant remember the teasers but I remember dead and bleeding donuts.

The BDZ music video was shockingly violent and bleak. Twice Japan is just built different.

That just looks dark, this one is actually dark. This one covers the struggles with stress, dieting, having to be happy all the time, etc.

I think so.
For the Korean releases, we know that between Page Two and Feel Special, the creative director was Lee Ji-young (who now runs Squ4d, Nmixx's division). Then after that, it has been Jane Kim (who was the creative director of Itzy's legendary first three releases btw).
Neither of those had anything to do with the BDZ album, according to Wikipedia.
And obviously the creative director for this era is Jihyo herself!

In contrast to AmysTeri, I really like their Japanese stuff. I think it is way more consistent than their Korean output. Doesn't hit the same highs but it is always, always good. I will take their worst Japanese album over their best Korean full-length album for that reason.
