2PM (투피엠) is a South Korean boy group under JYP Entertainment. The JYPE trainees went through a survival show called “Hot Blood Men” after which a group of 11 members called “One Day” qualified for their debut. Later the group was split into 2PM and 2AM. The group consists of; Jun. K, Nichkhun, Taecyeon, Wooyoung, Junho and Chansung. The former leader, Jay Park, left the band in 2010.

The boyband went on hiatus in 2016, after the release of their sixth studio album 'Gentlemen's Game', due to the members' mandatory military service.

2PM hasn't made a comeback since 2016 following the members' consecutive military enlistment schedules. Even though they had been in a vacuum for a long time, their music was still loved by the public. In 2020, the song My House which was released in 2015 suddenly went viral after being re-sung by K-pop idols.

By emphasizing their masculine images, 2PM is known for creating the "jimseung-dol" (which translates to beast/animal idol in Korean) phenomenon in 2008. Jaebeom was chosen to serve as the group's leader, as he was the oldest member and also the one who all the members acknowledged as the most talented one.
