I don't like the idea of K-Pop casting shows with young children. Because of the often 'special' audience but also because of the pressure to perform. I see the same type of 'supporting' parents there that think their children should be top models or movie stars.

Maybe the producers of such shows take that target group into account? It's a disturbing but very realistic consideration that pedophiles could be fandoms too. I'm sorry but there's rarely moral behaviour in 'Big Business'.

agreed like i'm against minors in the entertainment industry in general but it's one thing to debut a high schooler in some group and another to have a whole survival show with girls whose age is still in single digits. don't even get me started on the fact that they got sandara park who lied about her age to date a minor as one of the judges... abolish this shit before it even starts

Honestly given what we saw from JYP; one of the few companies I don't think is 100% evil, hiding cameras in a house full of underage girls, this is way to dangerous. I can't imagine letting my kid participate given what we've seen lately. Especially after 143 Entertainment and how that's been brushed under the rug.
