In Part 8 we're going to cover a male singer/songwriter called

Lostboycrow

General Information
Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Lostboycrow (Chris Blair) was into sports as well as music, and joined the high school choir while listening to pop-punk, screamo, and classic rock. Meanwhile, family vacations made him aware of the Crow Indians in Montana, and he became fascinated with their culture. He brought all of these influences together as Lostboycrow in the early 2010s and moved to Los Angeles in 2014. It was there that he met "Flor" bassist/producer Dylan William, who became one of his closest collaborators.

1. Powers
2. Talk Back To Me
"Love Won’t Sleep is an image-laden expression of feelings. Relying heavily upon Native American imagery, Chris compared the woman to a ghost queen, begging her to stay with him. He affirms his devotion to her with the title line “my love won’t sleep.”
3. Love Won't Sleep

"Lostboycrow derives his joy and worth from his significant other and is always sad and down when he is without her. But when he is with her, he doesn’t know “Where it all goes” as he talks about his emotions and sadness fades away."

With 3 single releases in 2017, teasing his 2nd EP, the final album dropped with 5 songs in total.
"Devil’s In The Backseat” tells his story of dealing with a girl that he is encaptivated with but things are different once they hit the roads and live fast. She is devilishly daring and seductive, but the girl is simply along for the short ride."

Collabs

Solo Songs
Traveler: The Third Legend
1. Scorpio
2. I'm A Sailor Not A Salesman
3. Cindy at the Window
4. Church with no Ceiling
5. River Of Forgetfulness

and finishing off the year with this one
"The Bittersweet Symphonies says: “Embracing the rejuvenating power of self-exploration and creative freedom, Los Angeles’ Lostboycrow follows his north star to a place of truth, soul searching and his roots. Unusually melancholy and somber in tone, ‘Since the Day I Was Born’ flips through the pages of memory and looks to gain insight, What makes us who we are? How much do we change over the span of a lifetime? Is the world so unrecognisable that our youth is a distant place? Grasping for familiarity, the song speaks a language of vulnerability and strength more raw than we’ve ever received from the artist, the production is similarly bare and stripped, and breathes a soulful, almost-gospel sway of R&B pop. A beautiful celebration of humanity.”

Actually not sure about him, I wonder if his tone sounds flat or it's just his voice that doesn't appeal that much, at least in Since I was born.
