but groups who does work with one or a group of producers do exist, especially the rookies groups (CORTIS, 82MAJOR, KIIRAS, NouerA , AHOF and Young Posse are all examples of that).

I know that Young Poose isn't a rookie group but my point still stands.

I am so done with Kpop. Boys can be dressed properly while girls need to dress like street h*** and what is even the point, can't be s*x sells because boys sell 5 times+ that of girls. So what really is the point. Congrats for making me drop yet another group.

I know that this isn't a girl group example, but Hyunsuk of CIX was allegedly forced by his company to perform on stage without wearing any underwear.
while it's still an allegation, I wouldn't be surprise if this is true since his company is C9.

thank god, I'm a male boy group stan because If I was a girl group stan, I would have multiple mental breakdowns and would crash out like every single day and also gross.

Idols need to be protected more. It isn't okay to force these things on them. What I find very crazy is the fact these companies get even more wild as soon their idols get near 19 years or 20 years. The body language of some idols too, shifting uncomfortable in their outfits, pulling on their skirt trying to get it lower. Meanwhile they also have to dance in these outfits. I'd love to see the stylists in some cases in the very same outfits doing the same choreo onstage, see if they'd feel comfortable.

I wish I could be more into male groups tbh, but for some reason I will gravitate towards girls more, and just end up stanning them the most. And lately that stresses me out in some cases.

Adding onto this: Bring back groups only working with one or a group of producers, whether international or Korean (the examples in my head are all Korean, Onf has Hwang hyun from Monotree, Stayc has Black eyed Pilsung, Zb1's last few singles had Kenzie, etc.) Many labels throw their groups' discography to the wolves hoping for something trendy, like the short duration of songs we're seeing, without thinking on what they can do better. This doesn't mean groups' discographies can't be consistently good, but we know they can be consistently great, and the fact that labels nowadays only want to work with big names instead of up-and-coming producers within the country (or outside) just shows how many executives don't care. K-pop gets the leftovers from the West now (we can argue they always have, but I like to think it wasn't a problem since the both the demo and the song were developed, thinking Run Devil Run and Juliette), not music tuned to a group's image (or image tuned to a group's music), and that should change.

I miss kpop from 2015-2019. The music was so much better back then and there were more groups that actually stood out to me. Now the groups I used to love are either disbanded or are hardly active anymore.
Hardly any group stands out to me now and the music just doesn’t hit like it used to. At least back then songs were better quality and actually lasted 3+ minutes I seriously miss this era of kpop so much. Most of the songs that come out now are barely two and a half minutes long and skips bridges entirely. Why can’t we just have better quality music again?
