Sad but true. It probably feels like one of those things that people won't care about, like how hotels have high taxes that locals like because they don't pay them. And the people who do pay them don't have a voice.

I'm not American so maybe I'm being biased but maybe this will open the doors to artists travelling to other countries on a "world tour". Although this will really only punish the smaller acts, the larger ones from big companies would likely be able to afford it and make that money back easily.
