Before we unveil this month's UOTM, here is an interview with May's UOTM @sunflower:
1. You're still fairly new to KS. What's one thing most of us wouldn't know about you?
Hmm, I feel like I'm pretty much an open book about anything and also a very simple person haha. So I'll say something completely unbelievable and out the box for my character, but when I was younger (like about 10? or so?), I was an altar server at church LOL. (Catholic). I wasn't even particularly religious back then either, they just asked for volunteers during religion class and I was bored enough to think "Why not". Very strange time of my life!!
2. What is your favorite game to stream?
Definitely Splatoon!! It's a game I've played for years and it's one I'm really good at + the visuals of that game is sooo fun. I think it makes a good game to play and stream since the aesthetic is so appealing!!
I also did a full playthrough of Kirby's and the Forgotten Land on stream last year which was an absolute blast.
Right now, I lack confidence to stream most of the time, I really want to do it more often but sadly I'm so.... >_<, but when I get back into it I'm probably going to be playing Fortnite relentlessly because it's all I play these days
3. Out of the K-Pop concerts you've attended, which are your top 3? And why?
I'll do a countdown for dramatic effect this may be very long winded, I apologize in advance
3. It's very hard to pick between (G)I-DLE and Oh My Girl, both were amazing experiences but I think overall, I will say (G)I-DLE 2022. Not only we're the girls absolutely serving the entire time, but the crowd's energy was just so amazing. I have NEVER heard a more loud chant from the crowd until they started off with "Oh My God". I'm telling you when the chorus hit and the whole crowd erupted in "OH MY GODDDD", that was crazy!!! The floor was SHAKING!! A crowd could really boost the whole mood of a concert and the energy was through the ROOF, it was such a fun time all around And also.... got to high five them... iconic...
2. Up10tion!! Specifically the 2018 stop (but of course I loved both times I went!!). But the first time I saw them live was so meaningful to me because it was the first and last time I ever got to see my beloved OT10... Up10tion truly means a lot to me and that night was one of the best nights of my life, not only was it the concert but I got to attend a fansign and actually meet/speak to them (to the best of our abilities with a language barrier haha). The moments I shared with them will never be forgotten, Up10tion will always hold a very loving and tender place in my heart they're my loves for real
1. NCT DREAM ALL THE WAY. Man!!!!! That concert was really a life changing experience, it's everything I think a concert should be. I absolutely adored the way it's staged/set up. It was like watching a full story unfold, which is so dream-like. Like, that's so them. They are a story that must be told, and The Dream Show 2 perfectly encapsulates that.... The way they perform to perfection while also you can just tell from their energy how much they really do enjoy performing, having a genuinely fun time, their synergy as a group as a whole.... Unmatched... Also seeing Haechan in action irl was godly how can you beat that in general like I'm so serious ๐ญ
4. What do you like to draw?
Many things!! My main bread & butter is fan art ! I have plans of making merch fanart, like keychains, stickers, & posters or many other things of characters or even idols, stuff like that. Also I really love drawing landscapes but in a dreamy way. I tend to gravitate towards pink/purple fantasy-like sunsets. It's very therapeutic
5. Though your UOTM banner will be removed soon, how long do you intend to keep the Top Poster of the Month banner?
Haha, I have a bit of an issue of being a chronic poster. Whether I'm camping in the Artist Threads or Post Your Random Thoughts, as long as I'm active, that Top Poster banner will be mineeee. I like to consider myself the final boss of posters /j hahaha. Anyone who'd like to challenge me, let's goooo!!
