On December 9, 1998, Utada Hikaru made their debut with the single “Automatic / time will tell.” In honor of their 25th anniversary, they revealed two pieces of information in regards to this anniversary.
In 2024, Utada will release the 25th anniversary best album “SCIENCE FICTION.” In support of the album, they will embark on a new nationwide tour of Japan, “SCIENCE FICTION TOUR 2024.” This is their first tour since “Hikaru Utada Laughter in the Dark Tour 2018.”
Details on both the best album and tour are forthcoming. A trailer for Utada’s new era was released though.
