Welcome to Li's latest trashy edit.
I wanted to go for the "I used my dad's old camcorder to film this" vibe. To do that, I increased the saturation to 35%, 20% more cool tones, and 10% warm tones. (think something like the Rancho filter) I decreased the quality to make the footage look more degraded, grainy, and oversaturated. I also slowed the video down to 0.75%. Before you come at me with "omg li your gifs are lq af" They're supposed to look like that! I know how to make very high-quality gifs. In this particular case, it's an artistic choice meant to make the video look simultaneously old and new. Ageless, you could say.
I had a set idea in mind, I wanted to go for something aesthetic and summery but also something that looks vintage? I searched for the right video until I remembered Kwin from ONER had the perfect thing on his Instagram, one of the teasers for his first photobook.
Anyway, this is the final result
