Basically they are introducing a new way to purchase albums: you can buy a digital version that comes with a photocard that they will mail to you. It will count towards digital album sales still and is better for the environment as you also get a link for the album download! And don't worry, they still have a physical album you can purchase

I hope that IST Entertainment will also make these digitals eligible for fansigns as that is also what a lot of people buy albums for (not just pcs) so that we can cut down on the amount of albums that are bought.

until some companies decide to reduce the price only ever so slightly or add some extra tidbits no one asked for to maximize profits
but im hopeful, it would still a good step forward tho
