Ok, I don't know if you know what a vtuber is, but they are basically a virtual streamer which has gained some popularity as of late and they can come in all types of forms.

There is a Vtuber company called Hololive and it's basically like the 48 group system in Japan but with vtubers instead of actual idols and the perform, sing, dance, etc and they are kinda like Vocaloid.

Anyways, there have been two vtuber idols who have fallen in love and the reason why they are saying they are a 'female x female' relationship and not a 'male x female' relationship is because fans call one of them the 'husband' and she doesn't want anyone to get the wrong idea and make them 'female x male' when they are clearly both female.
