Hello everyone!
I'm not sure if it will get this much attention, but here we go!
I came up with a creative idea for those who want statistics, but not the toxicity or discourse surrounding line distributions!
I made a Scratch project (comment below) that allows you to make a hypothetical K-POP album line distribution consisting of 9 cartoon characters of only 6 songs, using a randomizer, based on midpoint/regular values below, meaning that the range is 4.5 seconds less to 4.5 seconds more than each of the values below:
P.S. Go check it out! It'll be interesting!
Scorbunny from Pokemon (main vocalist, same role as STAYC Sieun) - 21
Larry Koopa from Super Mario (lead vocalist, sub rapper, same role as ITZY Yeji) - 17.67
Sobble from Pokemon (lead vocalist) - 17.445
Stufful from Pokemon (backup lead vocalist, same role as ITZY Chaeryeong) - 16.95
Grookey from Pokemon (sub vocalist) - 16.425
Bowser Jr. from Super Mario (sub vocalist, same role as IVE Wonyoung) - 16.2
Yoshi Kid from Paper Mario TTYD (main rapper, sub vocalist) - 15.975
Lemmy Koopa from Super Mario (sub vocalist) - 15.45
Gligar from Pokemon (lead rapper, sub vocalist) - 15.45
For each individual song, I calculated using this:
Example for a 2-member setup:
Larry Koopa gets 19.67 secs
Sobble gets 16.445 secs
Larry Koopa +2
Sobble -1
Best-treated: Larry Koopa
Justice for: Sobble
For each character's overall treatment in an album total, I do this instead, using the same logic as the one above:
Larry Koopa got 118.02 secs across all 6 songs
Sobble got 98.67 secs across all 6 songs
Then dividing each value by 6, you get this:
Larry Koopa gets 19.67 secs
Sobble gets 16.445 secs
Larry Koopa +2
Sobble -1
Best-treated: Larry Koopa
Justice for: Sobble
For an individual character's treatment for each song, here is what I did:
Format: Song # (current song rank, current song seconds, seconds divided by rank)
Example:
Larry Koopa (3rd overall):
Song 1 (2nd, 19.92, 9.96)
Song 2 (3rd, 18.45, 6.15)
Song 6 (5th, 16.65, 3.33)
Song 5 (5th, 16.17, 3.235)
Song 4 (5th, 14.26, 2.85)
Song 3 (7th, 14.53, 2.1)
Last, but not the least, the list of members who are best treated/need justice for each song. You can get this information once you get the statistics above:
Sample format:
Best showings of members per song
Song 1 - Larry + Yoshi kid
Song 2 - Gligar + Stufful
Song 3 - Bowser Jr.
Song 4 - Lemmy
Song 5 - Sobble
Song 6 - Grookey
Songs where members sing the least than usual:
Song 1 - Bowser Jr. + Sobble
Song 2 - Grookey + Lemmy
Song 3 - Larry
Song 4 - Stufful + Yoshi Kid
Song 5 - Gligar
