Yes, they brought several 3-D MK era characters back--- Ashrah, Havik, Nitara, Li Mei, and Tanya [ even though she was already in MKX ].

Just giving you a fair warning ~

I don't know if you've played MK11, but, It's going to feel watered down as far as single-player content.
When it released, it had so many issues which was patched over the weeks, but knowing it was a NetherRealm game, I never thought they'd drop, what I felt, a rushed product. They've always seemed to care about quality.
And I think the console version is better than PC as far as loading times.
Or it may work smoothly for you on PC if you have a mid-to-high-end gaming one.

The good thing is there is NO VARIATION gameplay system anymore. Thankfully!
And it is fun to play.

It's quite slow to load on a 5500/6700 combo so you really want something quite good to match series X/PS5
