Was Jinni a loss to NMIXX? (1 Viewer)

I didn't fall in love with NMIXX until their latest come back and of course once that happened my brain reevaluated all their previous songs and I like them too now. Since I didn't really pay attention to NMIXX until after Jinni left I like the group without her. But now that I'm listening and watching MV's she's in I don't see that she was a great loss to the group. I see the talent but I also don't see her out shining anyone else. I think Lily's vocals are far better, most of the group dances better and she's not the cutest either. Based on what I'm seeing now I think the group is better off with out her. They don't seem to have been slowed down in the slightest with her departure. So now the question begs. Am I missing something?

They bounced back admirably, but she is very missed.

Back then, most casual listeners knew her bc her pre debut videos went viral
She sadly left during a time when NMIXX got so much hate for their music, but I think she would still be one of the most popular members

I liked her fancams, but tbh the group was so young when she left that it probably won't even register to new fans at all. The girls really did a great job adjusting to the loss.

Well for once Jinni left in the early stage of NMIXX we really didn't get to know her much like the present members but she still managed to attract a lot of fans. She was talented no doubt about that but she left soon so yeah maybe her absence doesn't actually feel weird

According to comments I read the loss of jinni to nmixx was ‘great visual loss’ comparing the other girl to be average looking.

yeah she was definitely great loss for nmixx & nswer. she has the visual & unique vocal, but the remaining member, my super 6 babies did a amazing job overcome that loss. bae & yoona still feel awkward to sing their song when jini's part appeared in their live recently.

I think she was a great addition to NMIXX. Especially looking back at her pre debut vids announcing each member, she exuded a lot of talent and presence. As others said, she did leave early so it may not be a big deal for new fans that came in
