So quick backstory, I’ve been trying to save up for a car for quite some time now as my transmission is going out. I at one point had around $4,000 saved but then both my kitties health at the time drastically declined and both needed very expensive treatments so all of my savings and checks went to their care and it left me starting all over again with saving. I only work part time, maybe 20 - 26 hrs every 2 weeks for a number of reasons tbh. I’m also quite underpaid, really dislike my current job and have been trying to figure out another side job to help with saving up and also just to feel more financially secure. You know, annoying adult things .
Anyways I decided I could attempt to start a baking business from home. I’ve always liked baking and I’ve been told that it should be something I look into turning into a career but that always seemed daunting (it still is ngl). I’m still working on some things, like the business name, business cards (I’ll be including something in my design in memory of my kitty who recently passed) and I’m working on the legal stuff.
But while I’m waiting on that stuff I still wanted to go ahead and possibly make a few sales to people in my town this weekend (I’m making Carrot Cake Truffles ) and you guys- I have multiple people wanting some and based off the amount of people interested I may not even have enough to go around.
Not trying to brag in anyway, I’m just so excited as I didn’t expect such a positive reaction.
It’s made me more excited about taking this leap, I’m nervous but I’m also feeling a bit confident if that makes sense.

You should definitely do some bakes even before going mainstream. Getting more costumers from the start is the best, and if they are satisfied they gonna tell their friends and they will order too and soon enough you'll be bigger than KFC XDDD
