Oddly, there was a wall between 2019 and 2020. A whole era has passed transitioning from the 2010s and that probably has something to do with COVID and the whole lockdown thing. It feels like yesterday I was a freshman in high school and now I'm going to graduate in about 6 months.

I know...😭
But it's so weird because time doesn't change. You can't speed it up or slow it down but our human perception of time is just out of wack sometimes. It hurts my head thinking about it.

I heard an interesting thing about living forever. If you were to live forever, 1500 years can very well seem like 15 years for you. I'd feel bad for MCU Thor and Loki but I mean, this is like such little time to them that it doesn't even really matter.

Another weird thing about time perception is how waiting for something slows it down a lot. Like I could be waiting for an album to drop or my birthday to come and it seems so far away, even if it's just around the corner.

Yep. Honestly, the human brain is such an interesting phenomenon. I would love to know more but I'm not qualified for it so I'm just going to sit back and let the neurologists or whatever work their magic.


There's this one song called "The Nights" by Avicii (R.I.P) where it's all about living your life to the fullest which is why I love it so much. You never know when your life is going to be cut short so you have to live every day As If It's Your Last (sorry, I had to)

thats why i always encourage people to do what they like. Obviously it might not be possible everytime but live your life how you want it to be

Yep, exactly. And also spend a lot of time with your loved ones because they may not be here all the time.
I've had one loved one passed where I regretted not spending enough time with him. I can't let that happen again.
