Personally, i hate voting on apps! I'm too lazy to do it. I want my idol to get awards but i don't think me clicking on an app and watching ads for some company to get revenue is worth it. I'd rather buy an album or go to a concert.

This was before I was a K-Pop Fan back in 2012 and I never really spoke about this.

I liked this group called Tohoshinki back in 2009 was I used to One Piece on pirated sites and YouTube during the time they would post full (or partial clips of the episodes in sections). I was in High School and I used to listen to their songs since I was fan of their version of We Are! and then Share The World.

3 years later, I learned that Tohoshinki are actually an active K-Pop group known as TVXQ/DBSK and Tohoshinki was the group's name in Japanese. Plus I learned they lost 3 members because of a lawsuit

When I was a new kpop fan I just kind of assumed random people on twitter who said stuff like “Big Bang is the only kpop group who writes their own music” were true, because that’s an objective fact and why would someone make stuff up or lie to that extent? Then I got more into kpop and realized what kind of a fandom it is

I didn't realize songs were recorded in parts until I watched my first Apink recording video. I thought they sat as a group and had to sing it together. If someone messed up they had to do it all over again.
