1. Figure skating is not gymnastics. Both are cool, but would it be that hard to say “figure skater” and not “gymnast”?
2. This article states that back flips are still illegal in figure skating. I barely follow figure skating and even I know that that’s false. Somersault elements are legal now, and has been legally performed in competition again since the ban was lifted. Google’s free (currently) so why not use it?

it looks like some C-list website that's not really a legitimate source so tbh i'm not surprised it's full of shit with that being said, sport journalism is really at the lowest of the low these days. clickbait titles, lack of knowledge about basics of the sport... in my country, every single headline about a tennis player calls them "a rival of former #1 iga świątek" without even naming them and on top of that the most famous sports journalist here is now a full-time right wing propagandist

The part about calling them the rival really gives “(insert dudes name)’s wife is making a name for herself” as a headline. She’s making such a name for herself that they don’t name her
