so my dad's birthday is on the 2nd of september and today is the 31st where i live. this morning my mom said we're gonna go get him something so we can surprise when he comes back from work. he works from 2pm to 1:00 am so we were going to stay up for him to surprise him. we had a lot of work to do since we put new flooring in our house and we had to move all the furniture back into all the rooms but we still went and bought him a present and a cake. we came home and realized that today was the 31st and his birthday is on friday...not tomorrow because we thought tomorrow was the 2nd and today was the 1st

so now we're gonna have to hide the cake in the fridge so that he doesn't see
