Love Bjork.

Her songs are probably "weird" relative to alt-pop or indie rock songs of that era. But compared to the rest of Bjork's discography, Human Behavior is downright normal. Especially when compared to her post-Vespertine songs.

Love Bjork.

Her songs are probably "weird" relative to alt-pop or indie rock songs of that era. But compared to the rest of Bjork's discography, Human Behavior is downright normal. Especially when compared to her post-Vespertine songs.

I might not hv listened to this/any of her songs since mumble-mumble yrs ago when this was actually new(im tat old yes, sigh). I liked it then and her too, but dint keep up cos no internet then (shocking rite?) n mostly preferred Tori Amos n Suzanne Vega then anyway, also Jane Siberry and PJ Harvey n maybe others, but distribution (ok it was outright cassette piracy here then in those dark days), or my lack of hunting skills for them led to my failure to know/find more Siberry/Harvey(maybe Harvey was later in the 2000s, im not sure(i might be thinking of other female singer/songwriter contemporary of tat era, idr rn). Bjork n Faye Wong(Wang Fei) were rlly cool to me then in those days.just dint sustained the adoration (in me) not thru their music or anyth, just my own apathy /ignorance after awhile-Faye Wong for my cultural incompetence knowing/reading/writing my own cultural language, and the others cos no news of the others except when i stumbled on a new work by them in the cassette shops, dint rlly buy cds yet cos too expensive relative to my budget, took until early/mid 2000s for me to start earning enuf to buy cds but by then id no time/or cd walkman to constantly listen anyways. Usedta listen at work on the work Mac but got complaints from colleagues n listening on headphones wasnt sustainable longterm. Then anyway. Sigh.

Don't worry, I think Bjork released her most accessible music early in her career. Her music has always been interesting, but got too "experimental" for me in later years.

I hv a bunch of cds tat i cant play, even my dvd player is no good as my tv (a crt one, not flat screen-n it burned out in early 2020 after probably 10 yrs or more working n i nvr replaced it.) I just watch shows on my cheap ass phone now.
I tried spotify free years ago as an alternative to cds but i dint stick until i got more internet on my phone now. Hardly play free spotify tho, cos its too difficult n even if i paid-theres not much i rlly want to listen to 24/7.
