Weird sounds in recent songs (1 Viewer)

I've noticed a weird trend in some kpop songs recently, were they add weird backround noises, I find it especially prevalent in LSFM new song:


There is a noise from time to time that reminds me of my phone starting to vibrate. My phone only vibrates if someone calls me, so I find this extremly unnerving (I hate it when people call me)

In Lee Chaeyeons recent Song Knock there was also this backround knocking from time to time:


I also found that really annyoing and it makes it difficult for me to listen to the songs

I hope this does not become a trend

I agree, that vibration sound kept catching me off guard in lesserafim's new song, i deadass thought it was my phone vibrating 💀

this one's a classic but i find the creaky bed sound really grating sometimes

Is it more common now than before? I don't follow stuff as much as I used to tbh so maybe it is but for example creaky bed sounds have been around for a good while.

I noticed it, but I'm fond of weird sounds so I enjoy it. Compaired to western pop, k-pop has always had a lot more weird sounds so I figured it comes with the territory.

Let me see, there was the scissors sound effect in Pretty Savage (BLACKPINK), the creaking bed sound in Heyday (3racha), a door opening and closing in Silent Cry (Stray Kids), knocking in Back door (Stray Kids) and a lot more I'm probably forgetting. I personally love touches like these though and find them really creative. It just goes to show you can make good music without only using musical instruments.

Idk when the weird sound’s started but I hope no more songs include creaking bed sounds.

Seems the creaking bed is a very big issue, I've never noticed it too much. Is this maybe more of a BG thing?
