Trust issues I'd say overall, I am limited for time on somethings like going out

Now I dont mind it in some cases because it helps mature my persona and focus on things in my life that will help me rather than going out until midnight

oh, yeah, especially when it came to grades. Dad was more of a softie. I mean, he did have his strict side, but not nearly as strict as Mom. She thought even passing wasn't good enough - she was all about acing things. But what did she expect from a kid with a learning disability???

Not at all. Of course, they still set normal rules and boundaries that we had to abide by, but overall they are very laid back. I have never ever seen my mom angry. Even though my mom was never get angry or yell at us, she was the one in charge of disciplining us because my stepdad is the type of parent that high five us for doing something we not suppose to. Education and grades were important too, but they never nagged us about it though, probably because we were all good student anyway.

my parents were a bit strict growing up I would say and their reactions were disproportionate on certain things, but oh those two are a topic for another day
