The whole books and movies are much debated. people think of it as cringe and bad material.

I can only speak for myself and I must say I grew up watching the movies, looking forward to the next one, reading the books way before a movie was made. Like it‘s pretty much a cultural thing for me at least. People around me talked about it, we discussed scenes snd all so yes the acting might seem questionable in certain aspects but to me there is so much more associated with twilight.

people enjoyed hating on them as I was a bit older than a teenager when the first movie came out, well I was a teenager but I think I was 17 or so? HOWEVER, I did give the books a chance and they were actually really better than the movies. I hated the movies so much more after reading the books. seriously, the story is cliché, sure and some parts are really dumb, but in general the characters are really better written in the books. especially Bella. also the boys are kind of more complex?

YES THE BOOKS WERE SO MUCH BETTER. I always will be disappointed at how New Moon which is my fave book of the series ended up being shown

YEEEESSSS, THE ONLY REMAKE I´D ACCEPT. the movie was so boring and stupid ugh. I just couldn´t what they had done to the characters, like different universes.

if a remake would be done, I would definitely agree with it much more than the unnecessary remake they are planning for HP

I was gonna write that I read a few of the books but I remembered that twilight and Vampire's diaries are 2 different series lol. Idk I never understood the hype around some stories about vampires falling in love and such, although I think I will give the movie series a try now that I got reminded of them after so many years.

I watched the movies when i borrowed the dvds from my local library. Over the course of months as the dvds became available i watched all but Breaking Dawn pt 2 as the dvd wasnt out at the library then. But then i watched it n iv mostly forgotten almost all tat happened except for wat little i retained in my brain. I preferred Underworld's vampires vs werewolves storyline slightly more n Resident Evil from ard those yrs cos i associate them together in my head.
