Oof that stinks my family had that happen to us as well. We drove super far up a mountain hoping the smoke would clear up before we got to the top. All we saw was the outline of the view and it was so disappointing. The only upside to it was that a family of random chipmunks was really relaxed around people and just chilled out with us on some rocks.
