What age do you get mistaken as online and irl? (1 Viewer)

Do people think you are close to your age or do they usually think you are younger or older? is it different online and irl?

For me- I usually get mistaken younger than I am. usually it's not too far off, somewhere in early 20s (which i'd rather be tbh) Sometimes it's really of though, I have been mistaken as teenager in forums and i'm like.. that's cute and I get why but still add around 10 to that count . It's really rare someone guesses it right.

It's weirder IRL though and takes me a back when it happens. Again usually it's just thinking i'm in early 20s which is fine, but youngest someone guessed all of sudden was 14 (couple years ago though) and that was just . I couldn't even reply I was so taken a back. Sorry ma'am, but i'm uni student not in middle school.. there is bit difference in that..

(i should graduate soon been putting that off way too long, though i kinda want to become doctorate student too although i'm not sure if i have what it takes)

there is tons of adults even some of my mothers age in my uni though (especially in social work courses), it's quite mixed bunch here, people don't usually go uni here right after high school anymore, lot of people looking for another education and career too.

Oh, well I wouldn't have guessed :d it is difficult to guess ages, since i'm usually on older side i default everyone pretty much between teenager and young adult xd I didn't think you of teenager at least if that helps ^^;

College isn't concept in my country, I started as bachelor student and moved on my masters two years ago (i should have been done this summer, but my thesis is still so in the middle I had to request extra semester time oops) ^^

Way younger than what I am. When I’m with somebody like my mum or gran at train station I’ll get charged for a child. I mean I find it amusing, but at the same time when I’m trying to buy something like alcohol I hand them my passport before I’m even asked for it.

Yeah I finished my undergrads(bachelors) when I was 21, and then worked for some time and then did postgrads(masters) when I was 26
