Are you talking about first distinct word with a definition (like mama, dada, ect) or first nonsense words? Nonsense words at 3 months is realistic enough, but a first word usually means a word in the correct context rather than making noises. I said my first word at about 9 months, which is early (but normal still) since 10-14 months is considered to be when most babies speak their first real word.

It's actually fairly common that babies this age "say" worde like hi, mama or baba
But it actually counts as mimicking rather than talking, because babies this age mimicking sounds they frequently hear
But they don't have the cognitive and motorik skills to talk yet, they just mimick sounds that often sounds like words

3 months as the first meaningful word would just be extremely extraordinary because it seems that the earliest recorded have been at 5 months and they’re extremely rare. But with the fact that babies can mimic and that “first word” isn’t super clearly defined on its own, I could definitely see 3 months being possible depending on interpretation of first word.
