What type of forum is your ideal forum to be active on and things that make you stay active on a forum?
Also what would like to see more of?

Basically if you could create your ideal forum how would things be there.

I have left every forum I have joined after ~6 months. So I don’t really know. But I suppose I do appreciate engaging threads and interesting people.

Maybe a fully engaging general topic, coupled with nice or welcoming users. I have close to three years on KPS. On no other forum I have been for so long. I was on akp for maybe a little under a year if we don't count the ten months of forced hiatus I had; and I was on a coding forum for a little over a year. I lost interest on any other forum much faster.

Same I tend to get bored after awhile and become inactive. What kept me active for long before on the others were my Artist Threads but then I felt like I was posting on them just for myself bc no one really interacts on them and lost desire to keep them updated..

This forum was very welcoming and seems to have a lot of nice users. I have been on AKP but don't really go there anymore. Yeah so far I tend to get bored bc on other forums either they are less interactive or too much toxicity.

At this point, it'd be familiarity/welcoming/sense of belonging, & users im friends with n engaging topics im interested in. This is only forum im on tat has it all. The friendly/non toxic users n staff are a plus too. Easily navigable set-up/structure of threads/posts n non opaque (to me) rules to follow/speed of forum i believe all contribute to my main reason - warmness/belonging, friends n topics. Without all these i might not hv stayed herre beyond 6 mths of my joining, n making the many friends iv met on here.
