literally any name outside of my first language, i find it so corny when people here give their kids foreign names to make them more "unique" but only end up sounding ridiculous

anyway, all Beatles refs aside, I love the name Persephone, but idk that I'd actually use it. I have a high school buddy with a daughter named Persphone "Percy", and I've seen pics of her on Facebook - cute as a button! But I still wouldn't use it bc goddess names aren't usually my thing.

like when naming my children I wanted something that is easy to spell without having to correct people a million times (ie. my name since it's chinese)
but not that generic like a george that there will be 10 georges in his school or something
