I guess. I told my dad about it and he said that as a kid he actually tried that once and realized how nasty it is and never did it again
This recipe is similar to what I make with some differences: We make our own beef broth by getting a cheap chunk of bone with a fair amount of beef on it and just boil that with peppercorns and bay leaves for the stock. We also fry the beets and carrots with tomato paste before adding them to the stock. And lastly we don’t use red wine vinegar. Otherwise it’s bascally the same from what I saw. It might give you an idea of what goes into it and whether you might like it.
