Oh, I don't think I've ever heard someone point out periwinkle before! I know the color, but couldn't picture the plant, so I had to google. It is pretty!

Centennim I think it has various colours but I have the plant of the pink one... Everyday some fall I gather them and pin it in my hair...Really beautiful...

Since it's that time of year when things start blooming (with a caveat for you southern hemisphere folk, no idea for you), what do you like?

I'm a huge fan of tulips. We even have a tulip festival in my area that will be in a couple of weeks.

when I was in singapore they had a special event whereby they had like chrysanthemums of every variety and colour and that was really cool
plus I like Chrysanthemum tea lol

we have an annual Azalea festival near us. I've never actually been even though it's less than 20 minutes away from us. We usually pass through traffic (horrid traffic) or just stay at home. My dad always goes. Judging from what I can see when we'd pass by (bc they always have most of the town blocked off), they have an outdoor garden you can visit, farmers market, yard sales (I'm guessing bc my dad always returned w a stack of books and then my mom would yell at him), and I think you can buy plants/flowers and seeds. there's probably stuff for the kids too but idk

But last year, I went the week before, and they still had the gardens mostly full of tulips, restaurants with their special menus, etc. without the insane traffic. So it was a nice time, even I didn't get the full experience with all the activities, etc. that are technically available.
