• the visual position is bullshit and minors shouldn't debut. these are often seen among unpopular opinions but they're not - they're popular just treated otherwise due to what we see in the industry (and due to some weirdos defending it by saying "oh but this 12 year old wants to have their dream come true by being exploited in an entertainment company)
• no such thing as a good company or an unproblematic idol
• honestly i don't know how popular this one is anymore but... i genuinely think kpop is good. it's a fun genre of music and entertainment source in general with the variety among music genres in here and even if there was a chance i would no longer like new releases there are so many songs from all the years that i could never lose interest in it. sure it has its faults but that's the case for every entertainment industry that has existed and will exist sadly. the negative reputation kpop has because of some chronically online idiots in fandoms will never make me leave it behind too, i mean there are literal domestic violence cases rising in relation to football but people tuned in to the world cup anyway.
