Thank you! I'm not even feeling thirsty either, but I know I need to drink as much as I can to stay hydrated. I just wanna curl up in bed and sleep for ten days straight.I drink lots and lots of water hun!
It helps replenish water lost through fever, sweat, vomiting, or diarrhea, keeps mucus thin (aiding congestion), and also helps the immune system to function efficiently, hence it speeds up recovery!
It's highly recommended that you rest. Pushing your body whilst sick, regardless of a fever, is what can lead to having one. Your immune system is at it's most vulnerable, so you're just opening up doors for more pathogens to enter...Test for COVID, drink fluids, check my temperature; if my temperature is over 99°F, I text my boss and tell her I need a nap. If it isn't, I just keep working.
