that's the thing my friend usually such medicines work very well to reduce the heartburn
if the medicine isn't working and it's coming back and going away and coming back again maybe it's safer to just get it checked out

btw is this the first time this amount of heartburn is occurring? like has it ever happned before?

but if symptoms continue and they recurr (like on and off) then maybe you should get checked out just to be on the safe side
