The same thing you'd do on a computer only with less convience, unless you draw or need to take notes. Taking notes on an Ipad is so much easier.

Yeah procreate is a one time purchase, though if I recall, there is a free version.

Play around with it. It can do all kinds of things. Even animation.

There's 3d sculpting apps and other resources that can be fun to play with for art.

Games too.

My mom gave me her old one to see if I’d like it and I feel the same as you. it’s hard to comfortably use in my opinion, it is good for taking notes and for drawing, also if you like reading and it’s small enough to comfortably read. I definitely don’t see myself getting a new one for myself though.
