I see. But, again, weird-- even if the trial is only between the label and the group and not Givers.
Since the label was affiliated with Givers, I'm sure the group must have wondered and felt awkward in their minds when being asked or told to do a remake version. My point is it seems so out of place and Givers is trying to cash-grab immediately with the remake.

for public opinion you have to differentiate between korea and the west, in korea people seem to hate them and see them as the betrayer idols, in the west its probably more in favor of the girls or at least more even.

maybe but the question is where is 5050's future going? i. how are they going to earn a living moving forward?
to date unless no group (individually they have) has moved outside of kpop to be mainstream (individually yes there are a lot of artists that move on former chinese kpop idols for example) but as a group even the biggest name like BTS and BP and Twice are still attached to kpop (as a group)

and thus for 5050 who is currently facing an unknown future - cupid might be a one hit wonder or it might be the start of something bigger who knows except that their bread and butter their future lies within kpop and as kpop is Korean popular music it doesn't bode well for them

I also think it would be bad if they stay hated in their home country... but public opinion can change, we really have to wait how the case ends in court

that's true if they continue getting hated within SK then they won't get as many deals can't tour as well etc etc
but yes public opinion can change and hopefully something will come out in court to persuade the GP
