I think this is a really sensitive topic and it’s difficult to say, if something like that is helpful or not bc it always depends on the person and what happened
In this particular case, the girl's death happened really fast, after she fell ill, and the parents weren't able to properly say goodbye to her
The mother posted a message, after the video was released, and said that the VR experience really helped her to find closure

I would be uncomfortable with this considering that I wasn’t really close to my deceased loved ones (my paternal grandparents, my maternal grandfather, and my father). It would feel strange to talk to them in VR.

For a one time trip on memory lane yes, but for this kind of experiences to become an everyday occurence, and making ourselves delusional that our loved ones are still among us? No, that would be unhealthy
