The rise of kpop companies diving into web3 tech like nfts and crypto?
Tbh, it’s scummy considering most companies are marketing groups to teens or young adults that aren’t familiar with web3 stuff and the prevalence of shady practices associated with web3 (that includes the huge environmental impact web 3 has )

I refuse to get involved in anything crypto, nft etc. It’s popping up a lot now in motorsport too as well as Kpop and I’m not for it.

low cost, high revenue
it's weirdly prevalent in the east asian artists I know too; I really like jae kim but she's gotten into it
I personally find it even more absurd than photocard collecting
