It does remind me of that.

We now know it didn't need to be that way! Hopefully k-pop will change, but, I gotta be real, the VCHA stuff makes it sound like it hasn't changed at all in 30 years. Maybe less physical punishment, but the rest is still the same stuff we have always heard. And just like Hollywood, I really don't think it has to be that way.

It doesn't seem like the K-pop industry has, companies have just gotten better loopholes to jump through now. I can say it's more secretive and behind the scenes but I doubt it is, like I still hear shit come out from idol's mouths which makes me raise an eyebrow.

Also the fact that Golden Child were never paid despite the fact they were keeping Woollim afloat in 2020-22 is so fucking disappointing but it's also like what did I expect?

now, maybe thats just a me thing but I hate it when (good) rapping in k-pop being either ignored or idols are giving very short verses by either themselves or the company *cough cough MCND cough cough*.
but at least, I got xikers and despite having ten members, it's great that rappers get to shine in a group that has that any members .
