Is it more difficult to be single or in a relationship?

I think it depends. If it is a healthy relationship yeah, it might be easier to be in a relationship. You don't feel alone, you always have someone to go different places, you have affection. If it is a toxic relationship nope, better single. It is more stressful sometimes to be on your own, but you get the chance to 'love yourself' more. Dating is also stressful kinda cute to know each other, but in my opinion is the most stressful stage because nothing is sure

Ive never really felt restrained by a relationship and I've never felt lonely without one...

Definitely being in a relationship as you don't just have to take care of yourself but you also have to take care of someone else to a degree at least but the extra effort needed to put into it also comes with extra reward when things are going well

I'd say that being in a relationship is harder because I'm looking out for the wellbeing and happiness of another human like very specifically and carefully. I'd say it is very rewarding though so it is worth the hard work
