when im too lazy to read a 100k word book, I'll usually read the adaptation if they have some since they usually just make it concise and don't add anything different, but I definitely prefer reading the book itself. I do like the artistic interpretation of the novels though!

i don't really read these days but i wish i had a graphic novel adaptation for stuff that i needed to read in school. i'd do everything to not have to read 4 pages of a writer describing trees...

they're ok ig, depends on the artist and if their vision matches what I imagined
also the ~vibes~
I finish books really quickly so maybe that's another reason why I'm meh about them

makes sense, I read fast but I do get distracted really easily haha

I like some, Neil Gaiman/GRRM Game of Thrones/Clash of Kings, Butcher's Dresden Files maybe others but overall i prefer to read original/non adapted works.
