So don't get me wrong I think the girl with shorter hair is talented but they chose an AWFUL song for her vocals. It sounded breathy and just off. As though she didn't have enough support and made the vocal parts sound almost screechy. The girl is beyond talented and she showed that in an earlier part but this song doesn't give her jsutice. The dancer did a great job and her vocals weren't bad either. I think everyone is heralding this performance as an amazing one. When in reality it wasn't bad but not nearly as mind-blowing as people made it out to be...did these girls at least deserve to have the doors open for them? Yes.

I think them not being chosen because of looks was beyond fucking stupid because they are clearly talented and skilled. This song may be just didn't showcase it to the best of their ability. But I think people not voting for them because of looks also made international fans herald this performance like it was amazing to make up for the comments criticizing the girls' beauty.

idk, i refuse to watch it but the comments are saying that they didn't get through because of their looks and it's sickening that looks seem to be some criteria in this show because most contestants are minors.

For these two it had more to do with Korean beauty standards not whether they were hot. The dancer is on the bigger side and the vocalist has tattoos and short chopped-off hair and according to some "looked like a boy". Which I mean is why I said above I don't think their talent should've been ignored because they don't fit Korea's beauty standard.
