My cat likes to go up to us and scratch the chair we're sitting on so we'll let him outside. And for my dog if she wants people to play with her she'll get her toy and drop it down the stairs. She's not allowed downstairs so that means one of us has to get it for her They're both still cute though.

My cat will cuddle up next to someone and look at them until he starts getting pets

Tyler (cat) - he was a shy boy, so he didn't really crave attention very often
Girlie (cat) - if you were reading something, she'd poke the back of it with her paw
Jewel (cat) - she'd meow at the door of the room you were in if it was closed
Buddy (dog) - he'd bark at you
Lorna (dog) - she'd start whining, and if that didn't get your attention, she'd boop you with her nose

One cat just stared at me from across the room until I called him. Unless it was 5am, then he'd tap me.
