yeah i think i was in the middle of the third or fourth book? when i realized that I just didn't like Mare anymore. And I used to be staunchly in support of Cal, but he started getting annoying too
It was still a really good series though, the first two books were really solid

Yeah that makes sense I think you would've hated the ending to King's Cage if you were already starting to struggle with Cal.

emotionally none because i don't feel that way about fiction, but one that i wish didn't happen for me was derek shepherd from grey's anatomy. he wasn't even one of my favourite characters but the show has gone downhill since then. also the man survived being shot and a plane crash so it was disappointing to see him killed off the way he was.
