I know. I'm confused is it saying this is who 2NE1 was going to be but not who ended up 2ne1 or who was gonna replace them if they didn't comeback? Or if they were gonna be 2ne1 but debuted under something diff X_X

They were basically very early Blackpink. After the success of 2ne1, they needed a new girl group. A released teasers for a project called future 2ne1. A WHOLE bunch of stuff happened. Pinkpunk (future blackpink) was a separate group but the same group kinda? YG switching trainees from project to project, debut dates getting pushed back, and trainees leaving were all happening at once. Then somehow Blackpink debuted in the midst of it all leaving the rest of the trainees to leave. Miyeon who was in Pinkpink debuted with GIDLE, Sua who trained with future 2ne1 is now in Billlie, Seoyeon from Furture 2ne1 is now in Fromis_9.
