i have no clue why but the donkey kong wii game—idr the name—i literally couldn't play it becuause it scared me. i have no clue why lollllll the game was cute but i was too scared to fight the enemies so i never got past the first level.

yeah I saw a video on that and it seems like a pretty tense game

the PS1 tomb raider games. there was no music and since the technology didnt exist yet, you couldnt move the camera around so sometimes animals would come at you out of nowhere

well.... i guess thats a reason but theyre not horror games so..

never played toomb raider so I cant relate but just thinking of a random animal coming at me is already terryfying

since its about raiding tombs theyre typically out in the wild and so animals will occasionally be around. but since it is also an old PS1 series, there weren't really hints or signs that you were approaching enemies and a lot of the time, they AI would detect you before you could detect it
i love the tomb raider series and have grown up with it but i personally dont think the original PS1 games have aged too well
