Russian has the neutral too but at least it has forms for all the genders and doesn’t have to resort to alternately counting in the other two genders

It doesn't require it every time. I think it is supposed to help ppl learn it?
Un(m) cal , doi (m) cai = 1 horse, 2 horses both masculine numbering so the word "horse" is masculine
O (f) carte , două cărți = 1 book, 2 books both feminine numbering, so the word is feminine

SO the neutral numbering has the masculine (un - one/an) and the feminine (două - two) thus making it neutral.

No it’s okay. I did get that it’s just for neutral, but even then it’s weird to me to do that vs just have a 3rd form

I just dont understand why we even dividing words. HOW CAN A TABLE HAVE A GENDER?

This question actually has nothing to do with language it's all about the emergency room. At the emergency room if they are removing any part of the chair from one of your orifices the chair is male. If they are removing you from one of it's orifices it is female. If it's in you and you are in it, it's neuter and you need some serious therapy.

We're giving/have been giving pronouns to more inanimate objects now? I know people tend to call their vehicles of all types, "she/her" -- which was already weird.

What will people now say about a chair? "Do you want to sit on him/her?" WTF??? Let's just leave it at "It" -- the way it was always described and be done. Those people have too much damn free time thinking of dumb crap.

Well that’s in English (and some others) yeah. In other languages it always been the opposite, where they have genders for everything. Including languages similar to and related to English.
