you wanna know the big reason why the crime rate probably dropped in half? because they can't arrest people and sentence them to 20 years in prison over selling and smoking weed. police can no longer over police areas based on skin color and pass it off as "oh well there's just a lot of crime in that area". the crime rate will drop once the police stop over policing areas and stop arresting people for dumb shit.

Tbh I'm pretty apprehensive towards the concept of no police, maybe it's because the situation in my country is totally different. Not because our police is better than in the USA and I can tell you is as bad as or even worse, but the alternative offers more questions than real answers.
