You know, those kind of questions that you know someone must have already dealt with somewhere, but you're not sure where to start, so you just type it into Google and hope something comes up.

I'm in a secret fight with my neighbor, because they have an extremely aggressive spreading plant that is taking over my yard. It's not native. It's ugly. It's annoying AF.

A traumatic possibility that I didn't think to ask about before!!

That would suck, considering walking regularly is basically the best thing you can do for your health, generally speaking.

Google says:

I recommend Bamboo. Depending on where you live, it may not be native. But some varities grow fast and are very dominating.

Bamboo might have to be my backup plan. I've heard it's terrible to get rid of once you have it!!

I planted some native flowers this weekend, and I'm hoping to pick up some butterfly milkweed at the farmer's market this week. They were sold out when I went to buy plants this Saturday, but said they would have more then. And they said that butterfly milkweed is a "you only need one" because the seeds spread and root pretty easily on their own.
