I have to try thisWhen I'm sad, I listen to sad music so I can "feel" my emotions, and then I try to ease myself out of depression by slowly moving onto more happy songs. It's like it starts out as sad songs, then chill/lighthearted songs and then eventually I'll get to happier songs and my mood will be improved by then :D
(If I try to jump straight to happy songs, it won't work and it'll just make me feel annoyed so that's why I have to work my way up through different moods/feelings)
I think it helps to have a playlist you can cycle through. For example, I might have 3 or 4 heavy/deep songs at the top and then the songs become brighter/more happy as you work your way through the playlist.I have to try this
